During the monthly meeting in the Department of International Sales in July, priority was given to the business expansion fueled by participating exhibitions and fairs beyond China. Attendees, back then, were divided over the destinations. Some cited Italy as the perfect venue for exhibition, as it is a trendsetter in furniture designs and fashions; some proposed Germany as the destination, because craftsmanship and techniques there are mature and well-recognized; still some stood for the US, the socio-economic development and influence of which figured prominently across the globe.
An end was eventually put to this arguement, as William Wei, general manager of Welhome, nailed the US down as the destination. He gave three reasons for this decision. Firstly, the US was the host of many world-renowned exhibitions and fairs like IHA, Las Vegas Market and the ARA Show. In this sense, rich experience and considerate arrangements were its to offer. Secondly, impressive transportation networks that connected almost all the cities brought great convenience to the visitors after they get off. Thirdly, it featured a vast territory covering tropical, temperate and frigid zones and a cultural melting pot, which is sure to provide a foil for this special trip.
“After the destination was settled, we were bombarded with various options-you know. It’s too large and influential a country,” said James Zhang, sales manager of Welhome. “But we cannot stay abroad all year round. We must engage in intensive exhibitions. That’s why we chose the ARA Show and the Catersource and Special Event.”
As the two shows will fall respectively between February 12-15, 17-21,2024, we are looking forward to seeing you by then. Beyond that, we’ll call on our old friends and customers in the US as well. So, if you want to get you business off the ground, please join us in the shows!
