The Welhome Delegation Returned Home in Triumph

Nov 9th, 2023

First held on in Guangdong (also Canton) April 25th, 1957, the China Import & Export Fair (also called Canton Fair) was conducted twice a year, separately in Spring and Autumn. This large-scale exhibition is jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the government of Guangdong and undertaken by the foreign trade center of China. As a comprehensive gathering of international trade boasting the longest history, highest level, largest scale, most extensive list of products, widest range of buyers, thus the highest likelihood of making deals, it is fairly enough to be renowned as the “top-notch trade fair in China”.

To keep abreast of the developments of international trade, the Welhome staff is well-positioned to be part of the fair again.

On October 20th, Welhome sent a delegation of three to Guangdong by high-speed train. This journey was 2,700 kilometers long. That explains why the three sales elites had booked berths for the long trip. The high-speed train winded through the Yellow River and the Yangtze River, by the seaside and over hills to feast passengers on spellbinding scenes of North China and South China in the golden Autumn. Comfort and high speeds it has to offer brings great convenience to all Chinese people.

This fair has provided a fabulous platform for Welhome to showcase its business strength and product influence. We have displayed many a classic chair like Louis chair, cross back chair, chiavari chair, Napoleon chair and other chairs in all colors (see Figure 1) during the 5-day session. Such wonderful exhibition arrangements, together with our considerate preparation, have appealed visitors from Germany, France, England, the US and so on. Some of them have already begun to place a trial order.

After the proceedings of the fair, the Welhome delegation brought the journey to a successful conclusion on October 27th. Here’s the notable scenes at the Expo.
